The Wall Street Journal is reporting Spider-Man will make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in none other than Captain America: Civil War, set for release on May 6, 2016.
The news comes just hours after Marvel and Sony broke the announcement Spider-Man would be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The report also indicates “Civil War” will introduce Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther into the MCU in what the article describes as “big part” of the film.
Also in other news, the Wall Street Journal is also reporting Sony’s Sinister Six feature film originally set for November of 2016 is now back to development as the studio reconsiders their plans for it.
