In today’s post, Kevin McVicker takes a look at who he thinks would make a great Moon Knight cast.

Marc Spector/Steven Grant/Jake Lockley/Moon Knight – Joseph Gorden-Levitt

We need someone to play a resurrected mercenary with schizophrenia. I can’t think of a single actor I’d rather see in that role than JGL.

Jean-Paul “Frenchie” DuChamp – Vincent Cassel

Every role this actor has played I have immediately connected with on the appropriate level, whether I should love or hate them. I’d love to see him in the MCU, and nothing is better for this French actor than the role of Frenchie.

Marlene Alraune – Caity Lotz

She has proven she is not adverse to roles from comic books and she can handle action if required.

Raoul Bushman – Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje

While he typically plays much more subdued characters, I think given the chance this actor could bring a memorable performance to this role.

Carson Knowles (Black Spectre) – Max Martini

I like the idea of this character being older but still able to physically be intimidating.

Robert Markham (Morpheus) – Adam Brown
Although a relatively unknown actor, he definitely has the slender and gaunt look to pull this character off with just prosthetics.

Jack Russell – Oscar Issac

Inside Llewyn Davis showed he had a soulful side as a struggling musician, Sucker Punch showed he had a beastly side as a burlesque owner and pimp, and Star Wars shows he doesn’t have an aversion to geek-based movies. I think he’d be perfect for the Werewolf by Night.

Khonshu – Gary Oldman

Gary Oldman can play anything.

Like an infinite number of monkeys trying to write Hamlet, Kevin has been able to randomly place together words in a somewhat coherent order in an attempt to express his lifelong love of all things Marvel. Starting from the first moments he watched Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends as a little tyke, Kevin has grown into an actual adult male while somehow maintaining his passion for superheroes. Does he know how to the change the oil in his car? No! Can he explain the convoluted history of the X-Men comic book series? Listen, bud: no one can!
