We’ve been hearing about Secret Wars for almost a year now. We’ve been told Battleworld will be back and that each of the recently announced series will take place in one of the ‘zones’ in Battleworld. Today, Marvel almost revealed their cards with a map of Battleworld.
As you can see in the picture above, there’s a lot going on in Battleworld. Each zone (so far) has been represented by a series. For example, Limbo will take place in the page of “Inferno,” K’un Lun will take place in the page of “Master of Kung Fu,” etc. However, we still have 9 series that are classified, BUT we have seen covers for 8 series that have not been announced. So far “Years of Future Past,” “House of M,” “Renew Your Vows,” “Civil War,” “Armor Wars,” “Age of Apocalypse,” “X-Men ’92,” and “A vs. X” have still not been given proper series announcements.
Some have speculated that these series might not be released in May and June like the others and that they may show up in July or a later date. We’ll keep you up to date on all things Secret Wars so stay tuned. Marvel also released the following press release today –
